Welcome to Poetry and Images of Nature, a project suitable for almost any grade level. Students explore an array of poetic forms and use poetry to describe the world around them: the smell of fresh-cut grass, the sky's shades of blue and gray, and the sounds of city traffic.

This multimedia publication represents a collaborative effort by all the students in the class.  

Students choose their favorite poems and combine words with images and sounds.

They write and publish their own poetry and link poems, sounds, and images to connect their writing to a world beyond the classroom walls.
